We chose this hotel based on the excellent rating and were very disappointed. The staff was very nice, but the room was musty and the bed was very uncomfortable.

Comfortable hotel in convenient location in Barsto

The California inn was a comfortable place to stay for our one night in Barstow. Front desk staff were friendly and competent. We requested a first floor room and they accomodated our request with an upgrade to a 2-bed room. Hotel was clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Location was convenient- we could walk to a number of restaurants. Breakfast was invluded in the very reasonable price. Selections were average- did include eggs but cereal and tea selections were a little sparse. Would highly recommend the hotel.

Great spot close to the freeways.

Right off the 15th, there is plenty of parking, even for trucks and large RVs. Rooms are large and include a coffee maker and DirecTV with some premium channels. The swimming pool was right outside our room, and there was a hot tub! Continental breakfast is available for no charge.

We loved over night stay at the California Inn. It is perfectly located right off the freeway. The room was charming and spotless, even with a bathtub! The breakfast was varied and plentiful. Would definitely stay again!
