The disappointment with our stay was with housekeeping. It was unbelievable that the state of our room was considered clean and tidy. The beds were not made properly; it looked like a 5-year-old did it. There were dirty, used coffee cups and towels left in the room. We immediately went and saw the duty manager in reception after sending the day out. He was so embarrassed and apologetic and gave us a new room. I told him he would see housekeeping immediately, and this shouldn't happen again. The next day, we left for another city excursion for the day and came back to the same thing. Again, approached the duty manager, sent housekeeping up, spoke to the housekeeper, and they said they were understaffed, and it wasn’t housekeeping that made up the room, but a cleaning maid who doesn't service rooms. Very disappointed. There's a service guarantee note left on the beds; your room should be the same each day, as if you first checked in. This wasn't the case.
