This is a classic example of a "Motor Lodge" from the 1950s. But the current owners have done a great job of keeping it fresh and kind of fun. I wouldnt say it is updated but rather well preserved. I felt the place was well suited to the rather retro feel of the town of Yreka. I liked it, especially for the price

I liked the ambiance at some level, like it had a 50's motel one-story vibe...but the place was in need of a lot of work. and it was haphazardly brought up to occupancy standards. There's a homeless camp next to it with barking dogs, bbq smoke, and loud music. The continental breakfast is really just a fantasy. Also, they "welcome" dogs and cats but charge you to have them...which is fine if it was knowledge at the time of the on-line reservation. Also, got a weird vibe from the proprietors.

Inexpensive stay in Yreka

This is a good choice for an inexpensive stay, but don't expect a fine hotel. It's an older facility, so expect quirks. My room had unpainted spots and a nonworking outlet. I feel it was a good value though. The manager was a nice fellow.

This place was so amazing we stayed an extra night the beds are fabulous rooms super big and clean and price is affordable. . we got much needed rest and. Good night sleep before we hit the road to the next destination . I have been staying in hotels since August 2024 due to wildfires and this one is the most favorite friendly and will definitely stay here when on our way to and from California this will be a permanent resting stop on our route .. thank you so much for the pleasant stay in yrek at the relax Inn

We were driving down I-5 and needed an inexpensive place to stay. I made sure that we could check in late (the site said we could check in until 3 am, we arrived before 11 pm), but it seemed like we woke up the front desk person. The place is a little run down and could use a remake, as it seemed like it stayed as-is since the '70s. There was also a lingering scent of cigarettes that kept me awake. The "continental breakfast" consisted of coffee, juice, some pre-packaged danishes and tiny muffins, and a couple of different cereals. We ended up getting breakfast from Starbucks down the street. Overall, it was ok for a night en route.

Low Budget Low Quality Low Comfort

It was Yreka CA. I needed a cheap place for a couple of nights. Says free breakfast. Cereal. and pastry. It was winter. The room was so cold I had the heater up to 85 most of the time. The bathroom was so cold I could not take a shower. The plug on the wall and the lamps were so old that my cell phone charge would not stay connected, even when I bent the plug prongs out. The door was dragging on the carpet and hard to enter. The wall AC/Heatrer filter was very dirty and I had to wash it off in the tub. That was the only reason I used the the tub/shower. I definety should have paid a few dollars more to get a better place. I definetly should have
