Convenient location for theatre goers.

Good location for the Civic Theatre. Parking outside for drop off and checkin on the day was problem free at the time but could be an issue as others have indicated, particularly on days when special events are on. The duty manager on check in was not super friendly - the one on check out was on the other hand the opposite as were all other staff that day. Our room wasn't ready until almost 3 pm even though check in is from 2pm onward. Parking does seem expensive but the other options aren't great. Rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable. We would stay here again if we got a good price by booking in advance.

Understanding that security is a high priority, but we had trouble visiting friends who we were staying in the same hotel and on a different floor. The elevator wouldn't allow us to visit other floors.

Underwhelmed

We were given a room that was not very well appointed. Our mini bar had nothing in it. When we inquired as to why ours wasn't stocked, but many of our friends were, we were told thst people on our floor had a tendency to steal the items, so they didn't put them in. Our room had no view, but for a gray wall and pit below it. Frosted glass windows, so we couldn't even see out. The bathroom was so narrow, 2 people could've pass through. We had friends who payed less than we did, but got betrer rooms, with amenities and views. When we asked to change our room we were told that they were full!

The hotel rooms were very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff was very accommodating to our needs during our stay. The only difficulty we experienced was at the restaurant inside the hotel as the service was quite slow. More than once they were very delayed in serving our food.

Room 501 was noisy as it was adjacent to lifts. Floor are close to fridge was dirty and sticky. Tea cups where dirty.

clean and comfortable, staff communication could be better, wasn't told about potential construction noise at check in had to read about it once in our room, luckily we weren't impacted at all. Breakfast first morning was a fiasco as no eggs and no bacon! were able to choose alternative and given free drink that evening to compensate, which we needed after fire alarm at 11pm but staff were amazing with the fire drill/evacuation.

Great location about a 10-15 minute walk down Queen Street to the harbor area. Some construction near the hotel but the room was very quiet and large. A great all around value. Would stay again.
