Bath - nice travelling bonus for child.
Handy luggage transporting trolly at reception,with lots of space at entrance for ease of dropping bags or picking up people. 24hr check in/out. Felt safe. Food eat-in options available.
Noise of people coming to rooms was probably the downfall, our room was near to lift/stairs.
Hotel is dated but some refreshments have been made about and overall presentable and clean.
Staff were very helpful. A pleasant experience to stay and would be happy to stay again.

Some staff was attentive, whilst other staff made you feel like any request was a burden. Light bulbs were blown and were not given a towel per guest. Some doors that required key entry were difficult to open.
The location was very convenient for what we were there for. The room was the perfect size for us. We would have made use off the spa but it was raining and too cold for us but that was okay because we made use of the bath in our room. We definitely stay again and would highly recommend to friends and family. Thank you Waipuna Lodge and staff!

Hotel is in need of upgrading works. it looks dated. The bed and linens are clean, but it is too soft for me, as I personally like a firmer mattress. The front counter service is good though - Polite and professional. The breakfast is buffet but with limited choices. Not enough coffee cups and only 1 coffee machine can't cope with some crowds when they are hosting convention events. For me, it's not worth paying for breakfast.
