It was the night before our unfortunate departure back home. It was very close to the airport with a beautiful and comfy room. I opted for the breakfast in the morning which was a great buffet and everything you would want and done well for a breakfast. Plenty of options and the parking was great.

Stayed here the night we arrived at Auckland Airport. 1am check in and the lady on reception was super friendly. Comfortable beds, kids enjoyed the pool & great breakfast. I’d recommend this hotel. Note- use the airport shuttle bus as taxi very $$’s despite relatively short distance.

We all loved staying here family of 4 Best customer service catering to my little girl who is very particular about food the made her something she would eat and a yummy milkshake also. Dining experience was amazing food was delicious staff were so friendly chef was so nice he make a special effort for us with my daughter. Loved his dinner menu. Breakfast was also really well done loved the full buffet 👌 Beds were very comfy and slept with windows open air con did take a while to get cold but that was the only negative.

very lovely hotel, beautiful entrance, nice and clean room, with a view to the garden. However, it was too hot when we got the key and the aircon wasn't able to cool the room for 2-3 hours which was a pity, we were sweating for hours until we went out of the hotel and returned at late night when the room was finally cooled down. Otherwise, nice room!

Not quite near the airport as the name suggests

The hotel hasn't quite near the airport as the name suggests. No lift to our floor although help was at hand with luggage. The hotel looks to be in need of a refurb. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were helpful.

Good All round Hotel.

We like this Holiday Inn for its closeness to the airport. It also had a decent balcony where you could sit out and enjoy. It has nice gardens, pool and plenty of places to just hang out with friends or visitors. It was pretty rainy,so we had to move it indoors, but that space was plentiful with lots of other seating.
Grounds outside with ponds, bridge, pool area and plenty of places to hang out.

Staff is trying hard to keep this run down property in working order, but it shows obvious signs of wear and tear. The breakfast dishes were chipped and dirty, while the food itself was quite bad. The rooms had permanent stains in the floor and dirty bathroom where someone else's hair was balled up in the shower. We arrived at 5pm and was told we needed to wait for a clean room along with several other patrons. Will not being staying here again.

We chose this hotel over overs in the area because it had interconnecting rooms, a pool and buffet breakfast. We had traveled 5 hours to take our son and his friends to Rainbows End for his birthday . Although I had booked months prior and sent 3 emails and one phone call asking for interconnecting rooms we didn’t get any. In fact one of the rooms was on the other side of the resort. Pluses would be the spacious rooms, the grounds, easy location and easy parking. Easy check in and good wifi. The pool was pleasant and a nice temperature. The room and sheets felt clean and the bathroom too. Minuses would definitely be the evening buffet. Absolutely inedible, to their credit, fortunately they refunded our meal. Bad service (no service!) for drinks and twice I went to the bar to find it unattended. A dry evening. Breakfast buffet was meh. Ok but nothing to rave about. Would I stay again? Probably not
