Luxury Feel

We loved that there was a restaurant at the hotel. (Make sure to make a reservation a day or two before going.) The room was great. Gym was nice. Loved that there was a private beach. Pool and sauna were great. Amazing location (walking distance to The Village). We’ll be recommending this hotel to all our friends and family. Looking forward to our next stay here!

Big Bear Lake fun!

Facility is beautiful. Rooms are great with a balcony facing the lake. Bar was very good. Service was excellent. Fantastic location near the village. Great walking/biking paths nearby.

Overrated and overpriced

First time staying here and the last time. We hardly got any sleep all weekend because of the noise above us. This Hotel claims they redid it to not only freshen up the appearance, but to help reduce the sound in between rooms. Well, that was an epic fail! We heard every step and move the people above us made, making our stay miserable. The staff said they were fully booked so they couldn’t move us. The only way I would ever go back is if I stayed on the top floor, but apparently those are all Suites and the price is ridiculously too high for what I would pay considering the Hotel’s overall condition. Not with it.

I loved that it wasn’t so huge. And it was close to the water. And the staff went the extra mile for us. After we had a delay on our room. Across from the village walkable for lots of dining drinks and shopping. The bar staff was very outgoing. And did a great job explaining drinks. Let us stay passed closing to sit at the fire. Had snacks and drinks in our room. Air worked great , great view. Only thing i would do different is ask for top floor. Can’t wait to go back. Definitely will recommend

This is a fantastic location! Right off the lake, across the street from the Village, walking distance to Pine Knot Marina. We barely drove because we didn’t need to. Loved having a balcony with lake view, the outdoor set up was great. Areas of improvement: towels are needed in workout room & more often in pool area. The hot tub isn’t hot, warm at best, our room keys often didn’t work at the pool, same for most guests. It took all day to get our room freshened every day. We’d put our sign out at 8am or earlier & it took until 4 or after. There’s no drawers in the rooms for clothes. They don’t check the balconies. Ours had spiderwebs & dust all over. We contacted the front desk & they did take care of it right away. All staff was very helpful. We’d definitely stay again for location.

Marina Rivera was the best place to ever book your vacation at . Such a beautiful place along with the lake view from the room is amazing. I would definitely be coming back again. Beautiful Stay, But Poor First Impression Due to B

I want to give this hotel a great rating because the view was breathtaking and the property itself was lovely. However, our experience started off poorly. We had prepaid through Hotels.com, but upon check-in, the front desk lady told us we had an additional few more hundred “balance” due. At first, I assumed it was just for incidentals, but she insisted it was an actual charge and told us we had to contact Hotels.com to resolve it. This really ruined the first hour of our trip—our first real vacation in two years. Thankfully, after multiple calls, Hotels.com was able to get in touch with the hotel. Eventually, both the front desk lady and the manager apologized and removed the charge. But it was incredibly frustrating and stressful. Our 2-night stay could have DOUBLED!!! That said, once the issue was resolved, we enjoyed the rest of our time and truly loved the hotel itself. Just be very cautious about billing and double-check your reservation details if you book through a third-party site.

This hotel just got renovated. It is quaint, cozy, and though they allow pets and children, very quiet. We had a balcony which faced Big Bear Lake and the sunsets were beautiful. They also have lounge chairs on the shore and fire pits which were a great add on. Lastly, the staff is very courteous and super helpful. The only issue is the restaurant which they just opened in June 2025 and it is very slowly and have a limited menu. Hopefully they will improve with time.
