I registered and paid on line the night before. On arrival their credit card machine was down so could I not pay dog fee. Received a voice mail stating I could go to the office that night or in am to pay the pet fee. At 9 PM a stranger is pounding on my door stating he was management and I had to go to the office now to pay my bill. Are you kidding me? I was sound asleep and I am not opening my door to a stranger in a strange town to pay a dog fee when it is pitch black outside. Ridiculous! Educate your staff better.

The staff here is absolutley amazing, i had a great check-in experience and normally its really good here. The only downside is that the room wasn't clean, which is a big thing since nobody wants to have to play housekeeper for the houskeeper. The toilet had a lot of grime that we wiped off, hoping it was just wear and tear we were seeing on the seat - it wasnt - and a lot of black stuff came off onto the tissue. I spent 162 dollars for a single night so i expected at the very least they clean the bathroom. The appliances also need to be updated and the owner needs to take the accountability of ensuring the building is running properly. The shower is broken, when we tried to use it a part literally spit out of the faucet making it so the shower part doesnt work. And the faucet for the tub is falling off, and was like that when we arrived. Again, very amazing hospitality, I cant stress enough how kind the front desk has been during our stay, just wish the room got cleaned fully.

Everything was average. Room was clean, sufficient free parking, located near a grocery store. Only improvement could be for the staff to be more personable. When checking in and out, the front desk people appeared lifeless and would only speak if spoken to.

Gentleman at the front desk was pleasant and welcoming. Stayed one evening passing thru Bishop on my way to a camping trip in Oregon and this place fit all of my needs. Comfortable bed, quiet room and wonderful scenery off the upper balcony in the morning. Would certainly stay here agagin!

The downside is that a shower curtain was attached to the wall about 10 inches away from the tub. Pretty nuch like no shower curtain, all water was on the floor. The reception said they are aware but nothing can be done.
