This property continues to decline. It appears to have been purchased or managed by a family, so there is no accountability for cleanliness and maintenance. They also removed our belongings while we were away because they failed to communicate that we were moved to a different room due to a drain not working as well as the room not being clean. We had to track down our luggage which had been stored in a dirty maintenance closet.

We felt sick after staying in room 202 for a few hours. Not sure what it was but we suspect mold. The heater unit was also loud and we could hear every truck pass by on the main street. Thankfully the staff were very understanding and moved us to a different room. Our second night was far better.

The termostat in the heater did not work and the room didn't retain the heat so I had to wake up every couple of hours to turn the heat off and on. The rooms were clean but I could hear the room above and next to me.

I've been here over 38 times in the last 3 years. All these bishop motels price gouge 3 times higher than they should for events that dont apply to passing visitors like ski time and mule fest. Like staring at monkeys is fascinating???? Their exceptional big rooms can be noisy some days they get packed and often you may not get a parking spot and tight squeezes in the lot. No bugs good beds. I wasn't happy this trip because I booked an extra day and they expected me to check out and come back at 3 pm for the same room. I just told her I will not and they never did that to me before. These motel s try to make you wish you paid them directly I think so they can milk the higher rates they charge vs the hotels com Expedia apps we use. Water is great and soft.

I was very impressed with the room, cleanliness, and reception at the front desk. Location to the fairgrounds for Rodeo was excellent - walking was only a couple of minutes to the gate. I had to take my dog with me at the last minute so was happy that this motel allowed pets and no additional fee. There was no hassles whatsoever when I informed them at check in that I had my dog. Will definitely stay here again next year.
