Just ok, no attention to detail

The room was just ok, nothing special. There were no in-room dining menus and no map as to where the ice machine/elevators were. No data on what was available, coffee shops? Restaurants? Desserts? Missing stuff from the mini-bar, hope I don’t get charged!

Wonderful old Inn. Our second stay here. Lots of history. Lots of stuff not working this time though. One elevator of two was out. The heater on the pool. The drain in our sink. Needs a heavy dose of routine maintenance.

The Mission Inn in Riverside is a stunning and historic property with truly unique rooms. I stayed for a wedding and loved the charm, especially the beautiful pool and the cozy Presidents Lounge. Room service was excellent. While the property could use some TLC and a few in our group had AC issues, the overall experience was memorable and worth it.

Reserved balcony room, arrived to a non balcony room.call the front and was told itd be "very tough" to change my room. Ok. Getti"ng readu for a wedding, enter the bathroom, dirty towels on the floor. Called to ask for towels, they sent some up, tried to tip, she refused it. Asked her for a trash can (room did not have one), she seemed in disbelief but went and got us one. Refused tip again. Unfortunately after about 30 mins i realized the ac wasnt working, i was sweating profusely. Went to the bathroom to wash up, and there was a full puddle of water mid floor. Look up, ceiling has a 'trap door' that was fully dripping water down non stop. Looked unsafe, unstable, and then we find a flashlight laying on top of the bathroom door, pointing toward the leaky ceiling. Surmised the hotel already knew of the leak and had someone trying to fix it, before deciding it was good enough to throw 2 guests who spent their only 2 day getaway they've been able to take in 2 years, at their resort. Really disappointing. Especially for the cost. Outside the rooms wasel cool though . Ty!

Beautiful hotel with great views and walking distance to plenty of bars and restaurants in Downtown Riverside. The Presidential Lounge makes a great espresso martini as well. But the room couldn’t have been worse. It was terribly outdated and musty, poor lighting, place felt dirty. For nearly $400/night for a basic room they could at least update the place. About the only upside was a refrigerator. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

My wife Maggy and me celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary. It was everything we hoped for! The food and service was very good and attentive. From the moment we checked in at the front desk , to the time we checked out, we were well taken care of. The room was located on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool. Each morning, we woke up with the sunlight shining off the historical complex below. Spectacular!!! We’ll visit again and highly recommend.

A very nice property with good dining options. Unfortunately our room had no air conditioning After four different attempts to fix it our room was left by workers with open air conditioning crawl spaces and dirty towels when we returned late in the evening. Both nights our room temp was in the 80s A small adjustment was made to our bill but it was disappointing especially since I overheard other guests commenting as well on the lack of air. Best to visit when temps aren’t hot
