There's roaches so that overrides the great room.

I loved the motel: the location, the setup, the space, the decor, EVERYTHING! I was about to make it my regular spot but then...I went to the restroom around midnight and there were 2 baby roaches roaming there. I'm still heartbroken! I have not seen roaches in any of the 15+ motels/hotels I've stayed at this year so that's a big nooo! I couldn't sleep after that bc I kept waking up to check if there were any more roaches roaming in the room. I was so paranoid that they would get into my stuff. I told the receptionist about what I saw and even showed them the piece of the empty egg sack I found in the restroom. She just told me that next time I could request to get changed to another room if I saw any roaches. Like "really? C'mon!" I couldn't even sleep but I was not going to get out of the room at midnight to ask for a new room!! The breakfast is okay. The waffles were the highlight and mine didn't cook all the way so I don't know what else to tell you. There was not fruit and the raisin bran cereal tasted like cardboard but it's 'free' so can't complain much. Also the housekeeping was knocking in my room an hour before checkout. I didn't like that & they were waiting for me to checkout after I told them I'll be checking out at 11a. I know they have a job to do, but I paid until 11a and don't like to be rushed.

Rooms need to be inspected by maintenance more often as ours have bathroom issues like toilet filler valve wouldn't work unles it was jiggled. Shower head and tub mixing valve doesn't workwell. No place to plug in coffee maker. Young Lady at front desk is vey polite and easy to talk to.

Initial room they checked me into was dirty, with a steak knife in the bathroom. Then they moved me to another room that looked like they housed homeless population inside. Walls were discolored, stained,black. Curtains and lamp shades had stand and splatters on them. Staff was unapologetic regarding the disgrace of a room they were providing. Morning front desk agent had a horrible attitude and did not seem to care about my concerns about the room and try to insinuate it was my fault because I didn’t come down a third time to move rooms again.
