Great place

Very nice room with great ocean view and easy access to beach side board walk trail. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great restaurants in walking distance, short drive to charming beach town with more restaurants and shops.

Loved the location and would definitely stay again, though I'd probably opt for a second floor room. Easy stroll via the boardwalk for breakfast at the Cowtipper.

My friend and I stayed there for a friend vacation and everything was lovely. However, there was a couple little glitches. The pool was not functioning. It was under repair, but that was OK because the SPA was available we didn’t really miss using the pool. Also, no maid service unless you request something so I went to the front office on our first morning there and I asked for more coffee, and coffee cups, and more glasses which she did give to me after looking at me a little strangely. Then I asked if we could have someone come in and empty our trash. She was very confused and said she would try to find someone to do that or we could just put it in the trashcan ourselves outside the room. Well, on my way back to my room. I passed two maid carts and two maids that were working on other rooms. I did not say anything to them, but I did think it was strange that she thought she would have to find someone to empty our trash. Fortunately, I brought trash bags with me and we use them. Anyway , that is my only complaint. We had a wonderful time there and everyone was very helpful and friendly except for this particular young lady and we would probably go back next year.

We love the Fog Catcher, it has beautiful views and is nice and clean. The only complaints I had was that they still do. It serve breakfast as most of the hotels on Moonstone Beach! It is 5 bucks for a small bottle of water and it would be nice if they had a ceiling fan! Even though it is generally great weather and pretty cool, we found the room to be stuffy the windows do t open except for the one but no air seems to come through! On a positive note it is a great place to stay, the staff is nice and even though the lady at the desk when we first arrived wasn’t as welcoming as I thought she should be, the next time I saw her she was very nice! I love Moonstone Beach and hope to return soon. Thanks for a great stay.

Room needed updating (ex., electrical outlets were not convenient and of the two next to one of the beds, the outlet wouldn't hold the plug ... plug went in but wouldn't stay in so unusable)

Nice but issues

The hotel is a little dated. Could use some furniture updating to look cleaner. The pool was closed due to structural damage and that was disappointing. We did get an ocean view room which was very nice.
