I'll start with two positives which were 1) it had a cute outdoor fireplace with seating area and 2) it's easy on/off to I-5 freeway and close to grocery and restaurants. Now the issues. Staff wasn't very friendly (and we chatted with several). Our room was basically clean but definitely needed some TLC. The caulk in the shower was deteriorating and absent in some spots. The shower enclosure was yellowing (should have been white). There were cobwebs in the corners of the room. After being there for 2 days, we found ants in our room. We were given another room which also had ants. The third room didn't have ants but the outlet in the bathroom didn't work (and the GFI didn't work to reset it). We told the front desk and they said that maintenance would come up but they never did. So I had to use other outlets for my hairdryer and curling iron...not convenient. There was supposed to be a Fitness Center but it was just an empty room. It did have breakfast included but the eggs and potatoes were not good. I stuck to yogurt and the prepackaged muffins. Even though this hotel was cost effective, I would NEVER return to this facility, and seriously question the Wyndam brand.

The hotel overall seems quite old and dated but it gets the job done. It was incredibly clean considering age. The bed was pristine and super comfy. The bathroom was old but still clean. These are my two deal breakers and neither was a problem which is fantastic. The highway noise was pretty high but otherwise it was a decent stay. Breakfast was impressive and you could get a good hot meal. Staff was helpful and friendly and I got a complimentary water. If you need a safe location and budget friendly option last minute on the same day like me, this is just fine.

The hotel’s system was “down”. While the lady was quite nice about it- the expectation of us getting over $500 cash at night in order to stay was a bit ridiculous. Upon check in- the people were great. The room was old and smelled pretty musty (enough it carried on our hair and clothes). It was also very noisy from the freeway. It was a very affordable option and felt safe but definitely got what we paid for.

Check-in did not meet expectations, as there were no door keys available upon arrival, which resulted in an unnecessary wait. Additionally, the front desk staff did not seem particularly welcoming or friendly, which made the check-in process feel less pleasant than expected. I had booked a rate that included breakfast; however, after noticing mold on the bagels, we chose not to eat there. The room itself appeared clean at first glance, but there was visible mold in the bathroom and a persistent unpleasant odor throughout the room, which was disappointing. Given the overall experience, I would only consider staying here again if no other accommodations were available.
