Room was clean with comfortable beds. Shower hose was a bit rusty and needs replacing. There was no safety locks in the windows nor did the windows lock at all. We resorted to puting a coat hanger into the window frame as a "barricade" the window. We were not happy about this but the front desk was closed so we had no option but to make due.

After travelling throughout Australia for 4 weeks, the Wynnum Anchor motel was the first motel in which we could not use the internet, not for phone nor for laptops. Location is quiet, and near parks, but about a bit of a walk to restaurants, etc.
