While Crescent City is close to part of the Redwoods, and the restaurant options were good, the area as a whole is lacking. This hotel could have been great but my daughter immediately became ill upon arrival and my eyes became itchy and bloodshot. Searching for a reason I found the moldy blinds. Without shoes and socks, you could feel the sticky, humidity in the carpets. Brown blankets and blue sheets just added to the feeling of uncleanliness.

This hotel looks like it is probably the best in town but it’s pretty mid. Beds are decent, but the breakfast was horrible. There is also a fog horn that goes off every 8 seconds in the town. I wish the hotel had mentioned that prior to booking or I may have moved onto the next town. The sound is quite disruptive.

This hotel is conveniently located and is clean to the extent we’ve paid attention. It is a dated property with virtually no tech, which is inconvenient. As long as you know this going in it likely presents no surprises, which is always a good thing!

Everything was great. Clean, spacious rooms. Laundry services available. Easy, convenient access to restaurants. Only drawbacks were no pool and our family didn't care for the breakfast.

Nice staff. No pool and no exercise room was not good. Also the breakfast was cold and the coffee was the worst we have ever had at a motel.

This is a perfect family vacation spot. The staff were friendly. The common are had families playing cards and kids laughing. There’s a lady area and the room was huge and had spacious fridge and microwave. It’s not fancy but has everything you need to launch into the Redwoods Park.

The hotel is fairly standard. It was very clean and our mattress was good. For walkers setting out from the hotel, it is possible to make one's way to a lighthouse (past a water treatment facility) if the tide is out; and there are interesting nearby signs about tsunamis. We had to drive to a restaurant for dinner -- largely because the street passing the hotel is very busy and hard to cross as pedestrians. In sum, our stay was quite comfortable.

The hotel was a convenient stop on our coast and redwoods road trip. Great customer service and impeccably clean rooms. Breakfast was comparable to chain hotels. The property is a bit dated, but easy to look past for its value. We would definitely recommend it and stay again.

We had two rooms on the 1st and 3rd floors and the rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only knock I had was the sink had a weird cardboard like substance in it (no odor though) and the area around the sink was wet. The front counter person immediately took care of it and all was well.
