Our stay here was ok. This is an older property, and bathroom fixtures were loose with towel rack coming out of wall. But, it was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Went for grandsons graduation. I usually stay here. Because it always clean reasonably priced very friendly staff. Away from the noise of the main road.

I was very satisfied with this location as a home base for exploring the redwoods. The room was clean with basic amenities like microwave and fridge. Staff were friendly and available. This part of town was a little run down but had restaurants, gas station, and basic shopping in walking distance.

This property was absolutely just fine especially for the price I paid. My bed was so comfortable and I had all the amenities that I needed to make my stay go smoothly. When I arrived the fabulous front desk person, Susan, gave me some information on a wonderful place to go to hike in the Redwoods. Redwoods. I did that + a few other things. It was fabulous. The only issue I had and I wish I had called the after hours number. Was that the person in the room next to mine had their TV on all night long. Luckily I remembered I could play some white noise on my phone that helped drowned it out some, but it was kind of a exhausting night but that is not the hotels fault. I did not address it.

Tired, worn out facilty. Plumbing was recently upgraded and bed was good. Chairs and table were beat. No air conditioning; cooling is provided by evaporative cooler. Had to request a roll of bathroom tissue and the office was closed. I phoned and someone showed up. I did not have a problem but I did not feel secure. It is in a skeevy location. There appears to be many newer and nicer facilities in Crescent City. Next time, I will be staying at one of them.

Great motel

The woman at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. The room was very good. The frig was excellent, I used the freezer and it froze my water, which I needed for the trip. Not all freezers in hotels are large enough or have the power to do so. I would definitely stay again.

Great stay

Excellent nightly rate. Do not expect hotel amenities for this rate but…, that does not mean my stay was any less than pleasant. Super friendly staff. There did appear to be a small amount of longer term visitors but they were friendly. The night was silent and safe. The room was clean and tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed. Located near the brewery and other good dining options. I would definitely stay there again. A bargain for sure.

There are not a lot of places to stay in Crescent City, and this one had decent reviews considering we were just passing through on a major Pacific Coast Highway Road Trip. The price was very affordable and the rooms were clean. But there area just wasn't one that you felt you could just relax while being there. Parking lot very well lit. But we had a neighbor that was vaping on and off all night and somehow that smell got into our room. Not ideal. There is a casino near buy that has decent dining. Kids are welcome there and you can view Elk from the restaurant at the casino. Note....there is smoking in the casino. I forgot about that element but it wasn't terrible. What this hotel did have going for it was its proximity to the Redwood State Park and National Forest. Would I stay here again...no. But if you didn't want to stay at a more expensive hotel or drive farther...it would be ok.
