The Landing Resort & Spa offers 88 accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors and feature fireplaces and iPod docking stations. Staff were very courteous. We had problems with hot water and the amenities of a heated towel rack and heated bathroom floor. The outdoor terrace had one comfortable sofa, some beanbag chairs and a few regular chairs. When we checked out, we were told to get our own car and load our own luggage. We were charged 4 star hotel prices for a 3 star hotel

The full lake view is worth the price. Other rooms appear to not have a wow factor. Private beach access could not be better for those wanting to go to beach. Appears to attract mature adults

The Landing charges luxury prices but delivers poor customer service and underwhelming amenities. If you want to stay in South Lake Tahoe near the casinos and Heavenly Village, you’re far better off at Margaritaville, Coachman, or the Marriott Residence Inn—all of which offer better service at a fraction of the price. Or better yet, head north to the Hyatt Regency in Incline Village. It’s only 20 minutes away but offers far better scenery, hospitality, and overall experience. The Landing also charges one of the highest resort fees in the area—for what is essentially a barebones property with no real “resort” feel. If you’re celebrating a special occasion, do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. This place is all cost, no care. Will not recommend.

First off the staff was very friendly. The beach access was nice. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. We didn’t try the pool or hot tub. The restaurant was good but I would say that was are only reason I felt anything was not perfect!
