Overall, this is a nice physical set up. The lobby and restaurant are nice and the food is good. The pool is not bad, but was not heated and felt like diving into Lake Tahoe in the winter. I have stayed here twice for different events because it’s a convenient location, the first time last year I stayed there the hot water did not work and they said it would not work for 24 hours so I left. We gave it another try and the cable TV in our bedroom did not work not to mention the fact there was no Netflix or anything else like that available. The room was rundown, but clean, and the television was very old and obviously when the cable did not work at first, it was really a joke. They told me I could go down to the restaurant and watch TV. I think if this place got an update that would be great, but given the amenities at similarly situated hotels, this one really fall flat.

an event concluded at the arena across. driveway access to the hotel entrance was coned off and I was not allowed to drive through to unload. I was instructed to park at the parking lot and bring my belongings from parking lot to the hotel. Frustrating after a long drive that I had to drag my belongings from parking lot across the street. More frustrating, as i was trying to locate the hotel I called the front desk for directions or a landmark and all i got was vague directions. I hung up and when I tried to reach the front desk, i was put on hold music. Never again at this hotel.

The hotel was beautiful, but was a little noisy (ie. a/c unit, fridge, and people who like to hang around the gated area at night. They got a little rowdy.. Beautiful property and beautiful pool and spa.

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times on our way to or from AZ and Oregon and find it to be neat and clean. We preferred a room with a view of the river but did not get one. Other than that we have no complains,

VERY Dusappointing

Front desk staff only came out when someone was at the front counter, not friendly, not courteous, brusk. Rooms were spartan, heater worked well. Security was sporadic & unfriendly. Parking did not feel secure or safe at night. $8. + for a small soda & a regular size bag of chips??? All paid to another hostile staff member. Not sure if I felt less safe in the hotel or outside in the street ~ VERY disappointing

AC doesn’t work well, it was hot all night and the beds are stiff, quite uncomfortable. But it seems to be the best hotel in town so I’d probably stay again, if I had another event to attend next door. I got the basic king size room. The place is aged but very clean. Water for showering is boiling, which is perfect for me, I’m sure the cold water was just fine for my husband. The bar downstairs was good with seating inside and outside, bartender makes delicious drinks. Last call at 11:15pm. We stayed for one night for a concert in the Adventist Health Arena and it’s literally next door. Parking is included with your room, you get a parking pass. We just walked right over and the hotel and arena area seemed safe enough. The rest of the town is sketchy though, we stopped at a Mexican restaurant El Chilango Chido, it was great and also seemed safe enough! But we pumped gas outside the city lol
