Convenient and well appointed.

This hotel is super convenient to John Wayne Airport and has easy access to highway travel. It's in a mostly business area but there are a couple good restaurants in walking distance (my fav being SOL Mexican Cucina). It's in a safe area which as a female travelling alone matters to me. I mistakenly booked a den room rather than a studio so the kitchen was disappointing, it was fine but the larger room has a fully equipped kitchen which would have been appreciated because of the length of my stay this trip (5 nights). My only complaint is that the gym could use a couple of small improvements, simple things like bands for stretching and a foam roller or two. Otherwise, this is my go to choice when I need to be in Orange County.

Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The biggest issue was the loud noise coming from the AC unit in the room. The constant humming and rattling sound were incredibly disturbing and made it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep. The staff couldn’t really do anything about it . Despite our attempts to adjust the settings or even turn it off, the noise persisted. This has been a frustrating experience, especially since restful sleep is one of the most basic expectations when staying at a hotel. I cannot recommend staying here to anyone seeking a peaceful and relaxing stay.
