Clean and comfortable

Literally an overnight stay. Room was a little underwhelming for a “deluxe” listing but comfortable beds. Bathroom was adequate. No shower gel (bar of soap was provided). Good wardrobe and drawer space for longer stays. All very clean and plenty of towels provided. Good sized balcony with just 2 chairs and small coffee table.Ocean View very limited! Friendly staff. Nearby breakfast options excellent. On site parking ($20 a night) but street parking also available.

Gym is two blocks away offsite, parking fee is extra $20/ day. No bar or on site food. It is an old motel in the process of being updated into a higher end facility. Ocean view room we thought we reserved was not available. But, the location is excellent and the price ok. They try hard and upgrades are in progress. Staff was great.

This was our second time at Inn by the sea. We love it for its convenient proximity to La Jolla. The rooms have all we need. Looking forward to our next visit!

It was great and the view we where so close to the beach. Walking distance and safe. Plus the pool was warm even though it was cold outside. Parking was great since I did not Want to go look for public parking the staff was so attentive and very nice.

Relaxing and convenient stay at a great price.

Centrally located. Easy to walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. Comfortable room and a heated pool. The coffee area by the pool was great for the mornings. The staff was excellent and helpful when called upon. The $20 parking fee per night was well worth it to me.
