I booked this property based on the positive reviews and felt like perhaps I was misled. The location is about a half mile from the beach and Heavenly Village which was good but the property is divided by a busy street making sleeping with an open window very noisy. The property was cute in some areas but mostly looked tired, especially in the hallways. The pool and spa were small but there was a cute common fire pit area which offered free smores. The room itself was extremely dark and shadowy, and the floors in our room were damaged. We were on the middle floor which reminded me of apartment living as I could clearly hear all neighbors and the floors above creek. Furnishings and bedding were old and heavily used, and even the door hanger was tattered and worn. The only thing I actually enjoyed about the room was heated toilet seat which was a strange and unexpected surprise. The silver lining to our stay is that the disappointment in accommodations led us to be out of the room exploring Tahoe more.

The black paint and natural wood had a great aesthetic. The community areas were enjoyable and cozy. Never have I wanted to hang out in a “hotel” more.

The room was nice and I enjoyed the tub whirlpool. Room was next to stairs and could hear everyone coming and going. Bed was squeaky. Notice given that we would be interrupted at some point between 8am-5pm to upgrade tv.

Stayed here to celebrate my 30th birthday with some friends. My friend’s reached out to see if we could have surprise decorations set up and flowers delivered to our room to which the staff agreed and said this was possible. We had decorations and flowers sent to the hotel and they left all of these items sitting at their check-in counter when we arrived. Not the end of the world but it was a little disappointing that the staff wasn’t able to complete such a simple request. The room upgrade and the complimentary bottle of champagne were appreciated but the room’s overall cleanliness and amenities left much to be desired. Found multiple stains all over our bath towels and bed sheets; tons of hair left all over the floor, bedding, and in the walk-in shower. We enjoyed how close the beach was to the hotel and that guests receive tickets for private beach access as well as the complimentary drip coffee every morning.

Great location about 2 blocks from the main strip are. Walking distance to everything. Friendly service. Amenities were great. There was a bar service with small plates. A nice communal area inside and out. Heated pool, jacuzzi and dog friendly. Thank you. We will def be back.

We were a family of 4 with 2 small children. It was convenient for us since we were only 10 minutes from the gondola. Many food selections. The best thing was the private beach access. I will say the walls are pretty thin so we can literally hear everything and anything.

Had a great stay here. Really appreciated that they have their own parking lot and there is no additional parking fee. The lobby/cafe area and outdoor seating were awesome for relaxing in the evening. Loved having a cafe and bar onsite with food options, really made things easy for our trip. The coffee is delicious and there is an awesome beer/wine selection. We had a short stay and didn’t get to enjoy the perks like bikes and private beach but liked that it was included with our stay. Our room was clean and simple. I do wish some more vanity items were offered like shower cap since I forgot mine. Overall, recommend this hotel.

A must for any occasion!

This hotel is very dog, kid and fun friendly. There so many things to do, bike, swim at beach or pool, relax in the hot tub, sit by the fire pit or make s’mores, play corn hole or bocce. The hotel is a big win!
