Unfortunately, my experience was not reflective of the standards I expected.
Upon entering the room, I noticed a strong odor resembling old cigarettes and cats, which made the space feel neither fresh nor inviting. The refrigerator had not been properly cleaned, and I found hair inside that I had to remove myself.
Additionally, the sink and bathtub were clogged, which required us to contact maintenance. Although a technician did come, the tub continued to drain very slowly, leaving us to shower in standing water. This was both inconvenient and unsanitary.
The bedding provided was old and stained, which further diminished the sense of cleanliness and comfort. We also dined at the Strat Café during our stay, where we found the food to be overpriced, soggy, and overly greasy. When we attempted to return my husband’s meal and request a refund, no staff members were available to assist, leaving us with no choice but to discard the food.
Finally, I would like to mention our check-in experience. The front desk representative, upon seeing that we had booked a suite, immediately referenced potential damage and smoking fees. This assumption and tone were unnecessary and left us feeling unwelcome from the very beginning.
Overall, our stay was disappointing and fell below expectations. I hope this feedback can be taken constructively to improve cleanliness, hospitality, and guest experience for future visitors.
