Historic with modern updates

The front desk lady was lovely. As the name indicates, it's a historic hotel, therefore older. They did a good job brining it up to meet modern outlet needs. The in-room, refrigerator, A/C and air purifiers were great additions. The elevator is compact but up to the job.

I’ve stayed here many times. The Endon bar and restaurant is great and the staff are lovely. Rooms are clean and well maintained. I’m looking forward to the next visit

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! This hotel cancels your reservation and lies to your face about it. I arrived past 10pm and I'm told that whoever I booked the hotel with canceled it due to incorrect cvv number. I knew right away the person was lying because you are not able to book a room if cvv is incorrect. He then says, we do not have any other rooms available. I was so upset. Had to find another hotel late at night. Do not stay at this hotel!

The hotel was ok, it looked clean but smelt fusty/musty. I slept in my sleeping bag as I didnt like the smell of the bedcovers. Location was ok, plenty of bus stops nearby. It had a bath, but no stopper was provided to fill the bath up. The housekeeping staff were very noisy, shouting to each other whilst working, and seemed to be outside my room all the time! A lot of old building noises, like buzzing, pipes banging etc.
