We were welcomed, check in was easy, and we felt comfortable. The room was quiet, clean, and safe. The location is less than a block from Hollywood Boulevard and made all the attractions walkable.

The room itself very small but at least clean. The location not the safest. My 10 year old daughter and I stayed here so that we would be close to Hollywood Palladium to attend a concert there. As it turns out we were not within walking distance but a short drive. We walked out of and stood outside of the hotel for maybe 1 minute and were approached by a raging male crackhead whom decides to target me in front of my child- telling cursing at me calling me awful names. This was scary and completely out of nowhere. Lots of homeless people on drugs in this area. Beware and DO NOT STAY HERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE TRAVELING WITH YOUNG CHILDREN!

The location is great, but the hotel is very basic, rooms are small, no amenities. Front desk guys are very helpful and responsive, 5/5 for their work but overall the hotel stay was very average.

Firstly this is not a 5 Star Glamour Hotel. However it is a smaller independent hotel within reasonable walking distance of Hollywood/Vine Metro and the Hollywood Palladium - both of which were very important for my needs. It was accessible from LAX by public transport plus a 10 minutes walk and on a busy Thursday evening I was at my hotel nearly 2 hours before my friends who had a chauffer driven limo arranged. All of the staff that I dealt with were excellent, responsive and very willing to help where necessary. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable, the bathroom and shower worked well. I have stayed in far more pretentious upmarket hotels over the years that just did come up to the customer service culture or downright friendliness of this place. The view from the room wasn't great but I came to sleep, not look out the window. My biggest recommendation would be that if I came back I would certainly look at this place first and I would probably also try to treat myself to one of the full kitchenette apartment rooms instead of the perfectly serviceable standard rooms that I had this time. Having a fridge was great, the room had aircon/heating.

My wife and i travel a lot. This was the second worse hotel I've ever stayed in. First, there was no one there at check in. We had to wait for about 20 minutes for someone to check us in. There was a lady there waiting as well and stated that she was there 20 minutes waiting before we arrived. The room was cold and dingy. Within 5 minutes we saw a cockroach on the wall. There was also a gnat issue in my room. The place wasn't filthy, but it didn't feel clean. I had a window looking out into a bunch of garbage. The restroom windows didn't lock so if someone wanted to climb through they could. The day we left the shower handle snapped off. We weren't able to finish cleaning. This hotel is more of a motel with a high price tag.
