Book Highgate Independent Miami Beach accommodation from NZ$225

The lobby was nice and the guy at the check in counter was very welcoming and friendly. When we got to the 2nd floor , it was very musty smelling and had old wrinkled up carpet in the hall ways. Our room had a very musty smell to it and a bunch of paint missing from the door. Furniture was blocking the patio door so we moved it and went outside to find what appeared to be dried blood on the patio. We were assigned a parking spot and someone had taken it which took forever to get sorted out. We ended up leaving to find a better place an hour or so after arrival. This place is nothing like it looks in the pictures.

Very nice hotel. Not sure if the partial beach view was worth the added cost.

I wish you displayed pictures from the 1950's and 1960's when this hotel was hopping. I loved researching the history of it and wish there were photos. We did enjoy our stay.

Very small room for 2 queen beds. Great location but was a bit too expensive for what they offer. Breakfast was very basic. Not even eggs. Disappointing breakfast, they shouldn't call this free breakfast. Most days we had to spend for breakfast. Staff was very friendly. Pool was nice.

The area was good and the location of the hotel was excellent
