The room and property was great. But the TV didn't work and the staff was very unhelpful. Let me do my laundry and get all of my clothes washed and wet and then told me the dryer was broken, after making me pay $4 to use the dryer. Then told me, oh well when I was stuck with wet clothes. Finally told my husband he could use their dryer. Just terrible! Also said she would have someone do something about the TV and then never did.

Check in and out was fairly easy. Room had a mini fridge w/ freezer and microwave, which was nice. Our toilet stopped flushing at some point between the night and morning. Seemed to work fine when we got there and then just didnt. Seemed clean enough, although the heat/air units could probably use a cleaning or new filter. Overall was pretty decent for the price.

Check in person was totally non-enthusiastic. Did not make me feel welcome at all. The room was OK. Bathroom very small. Wires showing under the television unsightly. Very nice bed and very nice shower. Best was being able to park right in front of our door. All in all, just fair.

This is more like a motel than a lodge, and it was very noisy. Whoever was above, was making noise until 3:00 am. It also seemed like every third room was a service room for the staff.

I got to the motel and when I walked into the lobby it smelled like smoke. I arrived about 20 minutes before check in and the lady let me check in. Then I got into the room, the a/c was running and was making a loud noise. The bed looked nice and comfy with white bedding. I went to open the window and noticed that the lock was broken. I went to ask for something to put on the window and the lady told me no one would try to do anything. I was not ok with that so she gave me a different room. I went to the next room and it was not cleaned yet so I left and came back a little later. When I got back the room was ready. It was not clean but the bedding was new. I was not comfortable as I felt the room need to be deep cleaned. I sprayed Lysol everywhere lol the sink in the bathroom was a vessel sink and it was cracked. The soup dispenser was mounted on the wall didn’t work and the refill bottle sitting on the counter was conditioner. It was quiet during the day but around 10:30-11 there were people hanging outside that woke me Up. I should have paid $76 more to stay at the Holiday Inn across the street.

Great Location, But Poor Room Conditions and Servi

The experience was underwhelming. While the location is decent, the room had an unpleasant smell, and the bathroom odor was similar to a sewer. Cleanliness was mediocre, and the service didn’t make up for it. I wouldn’t recommend this place for an extended stay.

Great spot

Love this place, very friendly family-operated, economy spot in Mill Valley, confidently located, had fridge and microwave and very comfortable bed. Clean and quiet. Highly recommended!
