This is our go to in Carmel. Owner is GEEAT!..Location is perfect. We park our car for the whole trip unless we drive into Monterey for dinner.

We had an issue with our fireplace not working the first night. Mike the manager upgraded us to remedy the situation. Our new room was excellent! It was the best room in the place and was perfect for our anniversary get away. I am so happy the attention to our problem and being fixed with no arguments, no stress. Whenever we stay in Carmel again we will book the Wayfarer Inn!

Great price, 2 easy blocks to all the action, and seamless check in. Rooms are fine. Clean, comfortable, spacious. It's a bit spartan on amenities (eg, no microwave) but for the price and considering how expensive Carmel is overall, it's a spectacular value.
