I've stayed here before with mo issues, this time I checked in at 4PM and the room wasn't ready even though the check in time is 3PM, so noisy outside that I didn't sleep until 2 AM, very disappointed

Property close and walking distance to restaurants and brewery. It's an older place so stairs creak when you walk which is somewhat nostalgic. Did hear a dog bark a few times in the morning. No fridge.

This was a unique place and the location was great. It was a quiet hotel. Our room was quaint, but clean. We loved the shutters for fresh air and light. Lots of restaurants in the neighborhood and short drive to aquarium, Fishermans Wharf and Lovers Point Beach. We had no problems with parking, there is a public lot across the street on Alvarado we used with the ParkMobile app to pay and 6pm to 9am free parking. We felt safe here. We would stay again!

This place really needs to modernize. There’s no fridge or microwave and the ac was basically nonexistent. Our key didn’t work cause they didn’t check to see if the lock’s battery needed changing before check in

Paid $330.00 for a weekend stay and was very disappointed. TV doesn’t work and they failed to let people know it’s attached to an Apartment complex that is noisy as hell. There is no ac so the windows need to be opened to feel comfortable. Here is where the noise comes in. Crying baby’s, screaming kids, drunk people, special need child that makes loud noises all from the apartments that’s literally connected to the hotel. Would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a peaceful stay.

Excellent location for old town Monterey, but the property is run down, dingy and dated. Common areas were filthy and the rooms were basic and tired. Stay here for the convenience but otherwise avoid it.
