Clean and affordable, I booked the room last minute after checking out of a terrible room in Watsonville that I did not stay in. This place saved my weekend!! I definitely plan to come back whenever I come to Monterey.

We stayed at the Stevenson Hotel AFTER the Labor Day holiday, and so there was not any huge crowd in town…. We walled to Fisherman’s Wharf and walked to breakfast in downtown Monterey….. Lots of great breakfast options in downtown. We drove 4 minutes to the Cannery Row and had a great dinner and went to the Aquarium…. The Stevenson Hotel had underground parking and so felt safe staying on the upper floor using the elevator… no problem…. Great massaging showerhead…. Clean rooms

Parking was not great, but luckily there is street parking - be mindful of the time though. The AC works well but doesn't stay on long because the thermostat is so close to the unit. So when the AC was off, the room was always too warm. Great location though!

Was a great stay! Came in for couple days to attend a wedding. A lot of things in walking distance. Was a clean and tidy room, staff was very friendly! Would recommend to anyone!
