We enjoyed our stay very much it was a great location to walking shops and food. The staff was very accommodating and upgrade our room with a balcony and view of the river. The only complaint I have is the upstairs noise

This a historical hotel that was very comfortable & very clean. It is ideally located near shopping & restaurants. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again when we visit Napa.

The location of the property is prime for walking around downtown Napa and for enjoying the river front. The greenery and potted plants surrounding the hotel are beautiful & well maintained. There are many good restaurants, wine bars, and boutique shops within a 2-3 block radius of the hotel. The hotel is quite large, the lobby is small but pretty, and the well-appointed rooms are nicely sized. At this price point (~$500/night) and location, however, I would have expected a complementary beer/wine/cheese Happy Hour reception daily in the lobby or on the back patio, and complimentary hot coffee/tea available in the lobby each morning. Neither were offered. Instead one receives a $10/pp voucher for breakfast at the next-door bakery or the option of a small basket of bakery items delivered to your hotel room. Neither were particularly satisfactory. The only other negative comment was the lack of sufficient water pressure in the shower. We stayed 3 nights and it did not improve during that time. Friends staying in 2 other rooms confirmed the lack of water pressure. All in all it is a lovely property, I just expected a little more "boutique luxury" at that nightly rate.

When I first arrived, I wasn’t sure I had chosen the right hotel—it looked like it was part of a shopping mall. However, the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was warmly welcomed by the staff, and my uncertainty quickly disappeared. My wife and I arrived around 10:00 a.m., and to our surprise, we were checked in right away. The room was beautifully appointed, incredibly comfortable, and I honestly wouldn’t change a thing. We especially loved the charming little balcony overlooking the river, and the bed was very cozy. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast of fresh pastries from a local shop, accompanied by excellent coffee. Thomas, who delivered our breakfast, always greeted us with a smile and was wonderfully patient as we made our way to the door. The front desk team was also exceptional—friendly, helpful, and made us feel as though we were staying at a friend’s home. The hotel’s location in downtown Napa was ideal. We walked to all of our dinner spots and could have walked to Oxbow as well, though we opted to drive. This would be a perfect place to stay during BottleRock—no need to worry about parking! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will absolutely be back.

Absolutely NOT!!!!!

Do not book this hotel on a “third party site”. I booked months ago for my employees that won a raffle. The description in ours say courtyard view and free bottle of wine. When the employee called to let them know they would be later in the day, she was informed by the front desk they had a balcony room for her. When they got there… they were told they don’t know who she spoke with and they didn’t even have the room I booked available and she was put in an inside room with a view of the parking lot and a brick wall and no bottle of wine. The hotel said they don’t see any of the notes from hotels.com and didn’t know the details of the room.

This is a fantastic high-service property. The staff is outstanding and truly cares about each guest. They go out of their way to celebrate the guest. Truly one of the best hotels i have ever stayed with.
