Upon arrival, check in was a breeze with our reservation. The Hotel is beautiful and has lots of RocknRoll pictures and memorabilia for decorations.
There are 3 restaurant/bars on the hotel property.
Restaurantsfood & service & hotel room service & Housekeeping is excellent.
There were a few things we didn’t like about the room. We reserved a King Suite. The bathroom was split by the room! The toilet was in a “closet” across the room from the shower, and the lavatory sink was on the outside of the shower. The shower had only one peg to hang anything on…. No shelf for clothes and no heater. The toilet closet didn’t have a shelf or peg to hang clothes on. The lavatory sink didn’t have a towel bar to hang a towel, and the coffee station/alcohol bar was across the “living room“ with no sink. There was a curtain hanging from the ceiling to divide the “bedroom area” from the living room area.
Although our room had a balcony leading to the outside overlooking the Padre Stadium, there was a baseball tournament going on while we were there, so the room was very noisy at night from the outside noise. However, The Hotel itself was very Quiet and no noise from the adjoining rooms could be heard.
This is the 2nd time we stay at a Hard Rock Hotel, and on both occasions , we were disappointed with the bathrooms. The Hotel designers need to be more realistic and practical in designing the hotel bathrooms for privacy and convenience of the hotel guests.
