The hotel's location was very convenient to the nearby beach and attractions. There were plenty of restaurant options around. The pool has a big slide, which was good for older kids. There's a mini train ride for small kids at a small extra cost. Very family friendly hotel.

We had a lovely two night stay with our five year old son. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room which was in a brilliant condition - as well as the rest of the hotel. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. The valet parking was so convenient and a good price. The hotel was in a great location with wonderful views of the water. We had a brilliant stay and will definitely look to book again in the future.

Our room had recently been renovated, new furniture, curtains, new bathroom and freshly painted. Great views from the balconies. We would have like more options in the In-Room dining menu.

Lovely stay

A stay at even the oldest of hotels run by Rydges is a safe and comfortable choice. This one isn’t the most modern but you wouldn’t guess so at first sight. Great service, lovely staff, and Jordy the BDM really made our stay feel special. Thanks to all the Rydges team.

I love this property for its location. Check-in was a breeze. Room was ready early. Portacot was ready for my toddler. Door handle did fall off one of the doors in my room. Might need a little upgrade. Staff are always helpful. Room service was efficient and tasty. Bonus for the kids this time was that the Wallabies were staying at the Rydges too.

Why is the room very cold? It’s like staying in top of the snowy mountain. My allergies got worse here non-stop, couldn’t handle it nor sleep from constant car noise from city. Not sound proof. Felt gross seeing bugs, and they don’t have any vending machine so no ideal chips can be access. No water fountain or water bubble is accessible here either. I don’t like drinking Franklin water. I’d appreciate a refund.
