I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Oceanside and would absolutely return. The location was incredibly convenient—and right off the freeway, making it extremely easy to find. Parking was free and conveniently located behind the hotel, which made arrival and departure effortless. Even though I didn’t have a pet during the stay, I appreciated that the hotel is pet friendly and I saw doggy bags available in the lot. Check-in was smooth and welcoming thanks to Mia, who was both efficient and genuinely friendly. I stayed in Room 201, which I would definitely request again. The room was spacious, exceptionally quiet, and impressively clean—both the bedroom and bathroom were spotless. One of the standout surprises was the excellent water pressure in the shower, something that made the stay even more comfortable. I appreciated that there were quality toiletries available. I also appreciated the thoughtful in-room amenities, including a refrigerator, sink, microwave, and coffee maker, which made the stay feel more convenient and home-like. The linens were fresh and immaculate, and the room was so clean that I didn’t even feel the need to use the slippers I had brought with me. Tip your housekeeper! One of my favorite moments was sleeping with the window open and enjoying the refreshing ocean breeze, even on a cool 52° evening. The peaceful atmosphere made for a restful night’s sleep. Overall, this was a quiet, comfortable, and very pleasant stay, and I would happily book here again.

Pros: The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Cons: For $130+ per night, this stay fell short of expectations. The hot water wasn't adequately hot during our stay, and there was no breakfast included despite the room rate. We also received a call about being 2 minutes late for checkout (11:02 AM), which felt excessive considering check-in wasn't available until 3 PM. We've stayed at 3-star hotels that offered better amenities and service for less money. For this price point, I'd expect functional hot water at minimum and ideally a continental breakfast.

the staff was super friendly, the parking lot and the room were both really nice and the bed was super comfortable too. the only problem was the state of the room when we got into it. the restroom door looked like it had been hit a few times and the hinge on the top of it was bent and all out of sorts, it had even did damage to the bathroom door too. the hook on the inside of the door was also loose and crooked but i straightened it at least. i didnt mention anything cause the rest of the room was super nice and i didnt wanna make it a big deal since i paid a good price for all the nights i was there. besides that, it was a great stay and id love to return when im able to.

Online said you can do credit card deposit. I got there and they said I couldn’t, it had to be cash only. I was there before the 10pm deadline as well. The gentleman at the front in the mornings was not very helpful. Parking lot was fully empty and said there was no early checkin. The room itself was nice clean. Staff could use some work

Rooms were dirty, especially pillows, two other people in our group opened doors to rooms that were occupied, luckily they are nice people because all someone belongings were in the roooms, this happened to two different people in our group, pictures make it look nice and there’s a lounge, there is definitely not very deceiving
