I brought my wife here for her birthday, getting a suite with an ocean view. The room was wonderful, the view was spectacular, and the service was great. I especially appreciated that they acted on my request for no down or feather bedding -- so many properties have to be reminded of this request once you've checked into your room. Thank you!

This is a perfect getaway. Staff are amazing, it’s the cleanest hotel I’ve ever been. They are so hospitable that they tried to accommodate us as much as they can, especially when I said that we were there for my birthday getaway. Due to all these plane incidents on the news, we’ve decided to cancel our Vegas trip and just do a local getaway. With their view, cleanliness, beach access….perfect getaway.

Decent hotel close to San Francisco

We chose this hotel because of the proximity to San Francisco and while it’s almost right on the water (we had a great view from our room), we liked that it was a safe place to park overnight and yet so close to the city. It’s a hotel chain so it’s a bit more impersonal but the room was clean which is the most important part. We did not like that you have to sign up and agree for them to sell your data before you can use the WiFi (that’s a weird way to take your guests hostage) which is necessary because there’s no signal in the area. The breakfast was okay, sort of bland but there was a lot of choose from and again, it was super clean and spotless so it was all in all a good stay.

The trip was really fun and enjoyable. The room was extremely clean and modern. We did ask for towels a few times, and they came most of the times we asked. However, we didn't get a room clean at all during our entire trip and our room became messy because of it.

Doors open into a common area which can get noisy at times. There was also a large gap under the door that let in a lot of light at night. Street parking was easy, staff was friendly. Walkable to limited shopping and restaurants as well as some hiking. Access to driving into San Francisco is easy but once you get to SF traffic is bad.

I stay at this property often because I visit family. Over the past five years it has degraded significantly. Last time the water in my room was suddenly hot then suddenly cold. There's more but that probably is a good example of the bad. Sadly it is probably one of the better hotels/motels, but I was quite unhappy (even with me arriving late to sleep then early out). I must say I'm very confused that Pacifica doesn't have much better hotels!

great location and breakfast. i also appreciated the welcome email upon booking, which answered some logistical questions. i found the cleaning and service staff incredible - working really hard and keeping the breakfast and room areas spic and span, in spite of messy guests. the front desk staff at check-in were not welcoming or upbeat - it seemed weird to have them in a customer-facing role. luckily, i knew who to avoid at check-out and had a better experience.

Setting is beautiful, rooms are pretty nice. Property was attractive, peaceful and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful for the most part. The ocean view shade in our room cracked us up. Breakfast was okay but also disappointing due to lack of place to sit and feeling rushed out at the stroke of 9:30am even though we didn’t get a chance to eat because we were waiting for food to arrive and then they whisked it away before we had a chance to get any. Also, both coffee machine and water machines were broken during our stay. Staff tried hard to accommodate us. All in all, a nice visit.

Very nice property and a short walk to the ocean and a few restaurants. Only downside was a typical "free" breakfast that wasn't too great, but there are options nearby and would certainly stay again.
