This was a lovely hotel, very clean and very friendly staff. It was very pet friendly as well which was nice for us. It’s in a great location and is usually walkable to many restaurants with little wineries and shops all around it. There’s a really nice free trolley that stops outside the hotel and takes you right to cannery row and aquarium area, which was very convenient for us. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone who wants a lovely stay in the Monterey area.

Great service by Oscar the nite mgr over the phone very helpful cust service did not return my call regarding parking charge they charged my card 50$ for one nite n it’s 25+tax on parking why tax on parking or any costs for what we pay at this hotel it should be comped just my suggestions

Easy central place to stay in Monterey. There was some road work being down so the time to the wedding venue was doubled but still under half an hour. The only downsides to our stay was the small sink (no counter) and the beds seemed closer to a double than a queen. But overall, a great place with easy access to everything.

Great location - didn’t love the room

Our stay was good, the hotel was beautiful and I liked to bar and restaurants. Location was great, loved having the wharf so close you could walk. The only disappointment was our room could’ve been nicer and kept up. There was rust all in the bathroom and just looked dated which was a bummer since the hotel lobby was so pretty
