clean rooms, great value, ev charging

Been here a few times, love it. Old school charm, and clean. I brought a dog, some lawn areas to poop, car charging is slow but free. We got a room with a hot tub, was straight outta the eighties with mirrors too! Room was so clean, comfortable. Pool is small but good. breakfast tasty, but limited.

We always stay here on our road trip twice a year, this year our room was quite a bit worn down then our other stays and the hot tub was broken. Everyone’s always super friendly and they have the good pancake maker the kids love for breakfast

It was nice to have a pool. The hot tub was not available due to needing repair and the pancake maker was not working. Which is the highlight of any hotel breakfast, in most children's opinion. The staff is friendly. Housekeeping could do better in getting the rooms clean.

Do not recommend

Front desk service was awful, room was dirty nasty, so much damage in the room! The pool was gross, not a towel to be seen. Front desk lady had no shoes on and was just RUDE.

I arrived in my room and the TV was on, the remote did not work to turn it off. I had to figure out how to take it off the wall to unplug it. There are plugins next to the bed that look new. They have USB plugs. That seems great but they don't work unless you have the bedside light on so you can't charge anything while you're sleeping if you don't want the light on. My first night there I had already gotten ready for bed and realized that they had not given me any bath towels and I wasn't going to put my clothes back on to go downstairs to get them. So I used hand towels to dry off after my shower. I got them the next day from the front desk. Also, as a woman traveling alone it was disconcerting that the extra security lock was broken off. Luckily I bring my own security lock. If you have other options in Anderson, California, I would choose those over this location
