Horrible!

It was nothing like the pictures. The room smelled bad and at night it smelled moist. It also smelled like smoke when it was a no smoke all around in rooms. DO NOT TAKE KIDS.

The shower floor kept bubbling when I showered, which caused me to lose my balance. I also didn't appreciate having a security officer ask me for my room number when I entered the lobby for a cup of hot tea.

The hotel is in walking distance to Old Sacramento. We stayed on the third floor and had a nice river view. The price was great and the breakfast was simple but good. Unfortunately the Wifi did not work at all for me, not even in the lobby.

This property is old and tired. It was clean enough, but our shower did not work and we did not discover this till morning before we were leaving. There seem to be many homeless/ and or panhandlers hovering in the area and security has to monitor those who let themselves in to the lobby and breakfast area. Very disappointing.

The staff was decent and the breakfast was actually pretty good as wel. However, the rooms were old and very dirty. The property was not in a great area and had lots of sketchy people around the property. We also saw several people living in the bushes surrounding the property’s parking lot. Did not feel safe at all even though there are security guards patrolling the property. We were approached by a couple different people offering or asking about drugs. We stayed here for 3 nights and on our last night we were woken up several times, at 2am, 3am, & 4am with people screaming, arguing, slamming doors and repeatedly banging on the balcony railing right outside our room which was very scary to say the least. Then we were woken up again later the same morning at 7am with a woman that was screaming repeatedly at the top of her lungs that someone stole her things and she was screaming and chasing a man through the parking lot screaming for him to give her back her belongings. Several people came out of their rooms to see what was going on and some said they had even called the police. During all of these loud arguing and scary screaming matches (all from people that were staying at the hotel), at no point did security or police ever show up to mediate the situations. We saw the security patrolling during the day but when they were needed they were nowhere to be found. We will definitely never stay here again and I would definitely not recommend that anyone else stay here either.
