Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean property! Dated but no complaints. $10 for parking and breakfast is included. Make sure you toast your bagels before you leave the hotel.

Condescending night desk person

Night front desk guy was super condescending and arrogant. I had to ask how to get to our room, ask where it was okay to park, ask about breakfast, and ask where the elevators are. I was clearly inconveniencing him with my simple questions. I had never been to this fine establishment before. Wont return either, hotel across the street is way friendlier and has a pool! Rooms are nice size with well sticked kitchen. Good for long term stays or out of town workers.

It was ok. Place smelled a little, maybe because they allow pets. They offer housekeeping by request, which I requested the night before. The next day, we were gone from 6:30 am to 5 pm and still no housekeeping. I called the front desk and they apologized, said they were booked all day and could not get to it. They offered to come right away but we had just returned and we were too tired to leave again or be there while they cleaned the room. So that was disappointing because we pay for the service in the not so cheap rates. We ran out of facial tissue too. They don’t have any extra blankets but the bed is comfortable. It was ok but next time wouldn’t choose this chain.

The room I booked was not ready/clean when I arrived around 10pm and the hotel worker provided me with a free room upgrade. He could have just cleaned it quickly and still put me in the room; so I appreciate the honesty. Larkspur isn’t the fanciest hotel but the customer service is always pretty good.

Absolutely awful - never again

The beds and pillows are really uncomfortable, we travelled in January and the room was extremely cold, with no heat in the bedroom. Breakfast was a joke, cold pre-packaged bag, coffee was light brown color. Worst part was, I got bug bites all over my legs and am still recovering from them ! Needless to say, I'll never be staying at this hotel again.

This hotel is ok. It was odd paying for parking considering the huge shared parking lot available and getting the included breakfast ended up being too complicated to bother. Probably won’t stay again considering there are other comparable properties nearby.

Full of Frustrations Rude staff and Hairy Sheets

Our experience at this hotel was frustrating and disappointing for several reasons. When I checked in, the front desk employee was incredibly rude and aggressive. She constantly interrupted me and refused to let me explain the situation. When I was finally able to speak, it became clear she was in the wrong. While she tried to apologize and backtrack, her behavior left a terrible first impression. As for the room, my friend experienced a range of issues. The sheets were dirty and had hair on them, even though they appeared folded as if they were clean. The room smelled terrible, and there weren’t enough sheets or blankets to stay warm, making it very uncomfortable. The overall cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel were seriously lacking. To make matters worse, the entire building reeked of conflicting food smells from the kitchens, which made the atmosphere unpleasant. Breakfast was no better—frozen burritos and pre-packaged items were the only options, and it felt like no effort was made to provide fresh or appealing food. Between the poor service at check-in, the cleanliness issues, and the uncomfortable atmosphere, this stay was a big disappointment. I would not recommend this hotel unless major improvements are made.

The place was exactly what we needed that night after a long day of sports in town. We had a room with all the extras that a family would like to use, from a sofa that turns into a queen bed to a separate bedroom from the living room, the divided space between the kitchen and living room. The fridge and microwave were big enough for a long stay. also, the bathroom has a nice double sink. It is perfect for traveling in a group, and the price was better for this sports season than other hotels in the area.
