We stayed in a studio with 2 queen beds. It was spacious and clean and well equipped. We had dishes, sink, mini fridge and freezer and microwave. Coffee maker and they provided pods and bottled water. Our room had a balcony which was great. Only negative was we were room 642 which is close to the entrance of the resort and was a bit noisy. Other than that it was very good.

Terrible hotel

It was terrible the only good thing about the Bahia resort was that it was clean and the lady that helped us check in and out was wonderful she did tell me she was new there, but the guest there were just racist Caucasian people. We couldn’t even stay in the hot tub too long because how uncomfortable we felt. The most stupidest thing I feel that the hotel needs to fix is the parking. We had to park all the way on the other side of our room which was 245 because random people took our parking from the front of our room. The people that took our parking didn’t even have a wristband to be in the private beach. I don’t understand why charge 50 dollars for resort fees if random people that don’t even stay at Bahia resort can go to the private beach and get access to anybodies parking spot from the front of there room. We brought our own shampoo our own towels everything so what exactly are we getting charged for a fee, it’s absolutely ridiculous. I come to San Diego every month and this is the worst hotel out 10 other different ones we have stayed at. If I could but more than zero stars I would

R & R at the Bahia

Great place! The rooms are amazing and the property is so beautiful. Very well cared for. The room with the bay view is beautiful. Loved the airstream. So convenient for coffee and a quick breakfast. Location is perfect. A quick walk to Mission Beach and all that has to offer.

The pictures on the website look way better than in person. Overall the place was fair-average. Our hotel room was a bit on the older side, the flooring was dirty. The shower only had luke warm water, turned shower all the way and hot water didn’t work. This happened everyday when showering The food in the dining area was not very good, food was bland and super expensive. Plus side was the free bottled water. Probably would not stay here again.

This is an ok hotel, relatively clean and comfortable. I did find it very loud, lacks food and coffee options in early morning and the building was often unsecured when I came back at night, doors to building propped open to public access. I wouldn’t stay here again on my next trip to San Diego

Our room was so incredibly musty and the carpet was so gross. Everything we brought smelled like the room, including our hard shell suitcases and all of our clothes. We did not want anything, especially our feet, touching the carpet. The drains in the bathroom also smelled awful. I had read reviews about rooms being dated and can live with that, but this is a health hazard.
