Good customer service but found a bed bug.

Pros: very friendly customer service, close to the airport, easy on-site parking, close walk to the harbor and some good restaurants. Cons: the hotel was not very clean -- carpets, baseboards...a lot of wear and tear. Unfortunately I found a bed bug in my room (#320, Feb 2025) on my first night. I reported it to the front desk and once maintenance confirmed it, I was moved to a different room (I was given the option of a refund if I wanted to check out immediately). I checked the mattress upon arrival and didn't see signs of bed bugs, so this came as a surprise. I was thankful it only took a few minutes for them to relocate me, but I was pretty jarred. They lowered my bill by $100. Based on the cleanliness of the hotel and this unfortunate bed bug experience, I would not stay there again, but I do appreciate the kind and professional customer service.

The hotel is located in a Yacht Harbor area. It's safe and beautiful. There are many great restaurants around. Close to the Airport and the beautiful Spanish landing bay. Parking is either on the roof or underground so you have to take steps to go to lobby. It is not convenient if you have heavy luggage. Breakfast is good.

The staff were lovey however, this is the most average hotel you could book. The breakfast was good, I would stay away from the eggs though. The eggs were extremely watery and have a strange texture to them. I recommend bringing your own toiletries as the ones given felt very dehydrating on the hair and skin.

We had a great 3 night stay. Perfect location to access all San Diego has to offer. Room was great. Water pressure in hot shower very good, clean rooms with good size fridge and microwave. Comfortable beds. We will definitely stay here again.

Hotel was clean and comfortable and served a great variety for the daily breakfast. The front driveway was a bit confusing just because it appears like a sidewalk. Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast staff were amazing, attending to anything that needed done including each customer as they came in and thanking as they left.
