Newly refurbished with fresh paint, new luxury vinyl plank flooring and a new queen mattress.
Beds: 1 Queen Bed and one twin air mattress (linens provided.)
Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, book with confidence. Enjoy all that San Diego has to offer- business conventions and the beach, Torrey Pines, Balboa Park, Sea World, the world-famous San Diego Zoo (to name a few) - in a private, comfortable, and beautifully furnished, clean, and centrally located studio.
Our beautiful & spacious studio suite is attached to our home in the wonderful and quiet neighborhood of Bay Park in Tecolote Canyon. You will enjoy your own private entrance off of a small and private patio. The room is equipped with air conditioning. You will have your own kitchenette with a coffee maker, single burner stove-top, microwave, and full-sized convection toaster oven.
You will have direct access to the (shared with owner) laundry room. Note: Your kitchenette and laundry room is the dividing room that separates your suite from our home.
The bathroom was built to accommodate a wheelchair. Shampoo and conditioner are provided. There are two ceiling fans. A mini-split a/c and heater. Two operable skylights are located above the sofa and also in the laundry room.
We are a smoke-free and drug-free home.

About our community: Bay Park is a wonderful and quiet family neighborhood that is centrally located to everything (trails, beaches, restaurants, bars, downtown, Coronado, La Jolla, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Legoland - the list goes on)! You can walk through the canyon to the Tecolote Nature Center and Tecolote Recreation Center.
More specifically, our studio suite is located in Tecolote Canyon where you can enjoy a hike/nature walk or even a mountain bike ride.
Rent with us and you will be 6 1/2 miles to COMIC CON! We are a short 1 mile to the nearest Trolley Station which will take you right to the Convention Center.
You will be 1 mile to Mission Bay Park; 6.6 miles to Pacific Beach; 4 miles to Sea World; 6.5 miles to the downtown Gaslamp Quarter & 7 1/2 miles to the world-famous San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park!

Emily was a wonderful hostess and the property was exactly as described. Everything was super clean and very quiet. It was in a very nice neighborhood and we felt very safe there. One of the reasons we booked here was for the access to the washer and dryer, which was wonderful. Emily supplied everything we needed to use the laundry. We also had excellent parking right in the driveway.Her place is small, but perfect for the two of us. The bathroom was large and comfortable. The kitchen facilities were all we needed. While there is not a stove top, there is an induction burner if you need that. I was happy for the full-size refrigerator and the coffee pot in the microwave and the dishes. Everything that we needed was there The bedding was very comfortable. What we really appreciated most was Emily prior to our stay. There was the possibility that she was going to have some construction going on at her home and she called me in advance to make sure that that we knew about that and to see if we needed any special accommodations, which I thought was very nice of her. As it turned out, that did not happen, but she was a very considerate host.One other thing about this property is it is super convenient to Balboa Park, the Zoo, Old Town, Seaworld, Liberty Market, the Airport and Port It was easy getting on and off the freeway in about a 10 to 15 minute drive to anywhere you wanna go. We definitely would stay there again.

A hospitable place to stay in a lovely neighborhood close to hiking trails and the University of San Diego. Our hosts cared for us in every detail. Perfect for one or two with a nice restroom/shower and well-stocked kitchen. We hope to return!

Absolutely a 10! The hosts Emily and Kris were most attentive and made sure we had a great stay. The room was spacious for 2 people. There is a small kitchenette.The bathroom and shower were well designed. A parking spot is provided. It is in a nice residential neighborhood and close to many of the attractions in San Diego. It is a short drive to Historic Old Town and the trolley. The trolley makes 11 stops at key tourist spots including the Midway, the Zoo, Seaport, Little Italy to name a few. Liberty Station is a short drive away as is Sea World. We also found an authentic Italian restaurant called Antica Trattoria in nearby La Mesa. My wife and I would absolutely stay here again. Book this residence with confidence---you won't be disappointed!

Clean, comfy, felt like home, had everything I needed, including a plug for my phone charger.Great location; quiet/friendly neighbourhood, close to the city and local canyon trails (good for walking/running/exploring). I didn’t have a car, but it was an easy walk (1mile) to the nearest trolley station (public transport) and a good coffee shop.Great hosts. Welcoming, friendly, helped me get settled when I checked in after dark. I planned to rent a bicycle, to travel to the conference, but instead Emily lent me her bike. Thank you.

Highly recommend! We had a wonderful stay while in the San Diego area. Great place and location

We are fortunate to secure this studio. It’s very well equipped very clean new host and houses. They were fabulous central to almost everything we wanted to see Seaworld Balboa Park and San Diego zoo highly recommend this location.
