We came for our honeymoon. Was an absolutely beautiful hotel! All the staff are wonderful, especially the receptionist. She was very helpful and made our stay extra special.

The entire property is lovely and meticulously cared for. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, although the two mattresses in our room need to be replaced. The pool/hot tub area is wonderful. I wish I'd had more time to enjoy it. We didn't get to assess the restaurant, so I have nothing to report there. I look forward to booking Humphreys in the future

Lovely grounds, room was comfortable, bathroom tub a little dated. Super friendly staff and was such a nice place to stay at the end of the day. I thought I paid extra for a bay view but we didn’t get one, I did opt for a ground floor room so we did have a nice patio and garden view. I would stay there again.

The only issue was when the room was cleaned we didn't get fresh towels. We placed them on the floor so there was no confusion.Our kids were in a room next door their towels were exchanged.we just stopped at the front desk on the way back from the wedding reception and received some fresh ones...Easy fix.the Pool,and hot tub are in an amazing setting. Would be nice if the pool bar was open a bit later though.

Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Made me feel right at home. Rooms were clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable. This was a girls trip and we felt very safe being in our room, on the patio, and in the pool area. The drinks and food by the pool were great. I'd definitely stay here again.

We were charged for parking and a resort fee but not informed at check-in and received no benefit from any resort fee. The worst part of our stay was that our room reeked of perfume and we spent our 20th wedding anniversary with headaches and sneezing because of it. Would never repeat this experience.

Great place to stay

We love this place. We took out 2 year old grandson this time for a weekend in San Diego. Excellent location that is isolated from the busier parts of town but still very close to shopping and other resources.The grounds are very well maintained and beautifully landscaped . Feels like being in Kauai. Great pool and pool bar with good food too. The Koi pond and trpical birds are a nice added touch. They have a couple nice restaurants on site as well as a very popular concert venue. Staff is friendly and attentive. This was our second time staying and it is now our go to place to stay in San Diego.
