nice hotel. very clean, nice decor. the parking was right in front of our room, great. coffee and tea in the room were small but oh well. I did not appreciate having to pay $15 more for parking, at a MOTEL.

Very nice for 2-star hotel

Only stayed one short night. It had everything I needed from a 2-star hotel. Everything was great except the following. Pretty big gap under the door (noisy at times) and room can be peeked through the windows.

Quality AND Inexpensive

High quality cleanliness, inexpensive price. Towels and bedding set up like at higher quality hotels. There is an overnight parking fee though. The Waffle Spot is a great place for breakfast.

I would never stay at this hotel again. During our stay, both I and my companion were severely bitten by what appeared to be bed bugs. We experienced painful allergic reactions, visible bite marks, and extreme discomfort, which ruined our trip. We traveled to San Diego for a very important event — the graduation of our child from the U.S. Marine Corps boot camp — and instead of enjoying this special moment, we had to deal with itching, swelling, and suffering. When we brought this serious issue to the hotel’s attention, they refused to offer any meaningful help or compensation. Their response was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. This hotel is not only overpriced for what it offers but also clearly lacks basic cleanliness and customer care. I do not recommend staying here to anyone, especially if you care about your health and well-being.

Older property, well kept, our bathroom you had to turn around to close the door, very, very small, no elevators had to walk 20 steps up to the second floor. Definitely old school, clean, a decent value.
