We truly enjoyed our stay. The property provided all that we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable-we slept so well! Very nice rain shower head also. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Some parts of the room showed wear but this was minor. Windows needed cleaning on the inside. That’s the reason for the average rating on cleanliness. But we would definitely recommend this property if staying in or Little Italy!

Great location

Great location. No onsite restaurant or bar but it didn’t need either because the hotel was right in the heart of Little Italy where everything is right outside. The room was not big but it had what I needed, it was clean and the bed was comfortable.

You should notify guests...

Overall it was a great experience but there was one huge drawback, no parking... To be fair they had some parking but if you check in late in the day the parking will be gone. It was also a Saturday night and there was no parking anywhere close. I had to park over a mile away and had to walk in the rain the next morning to retrieve my vehicle. The hotel was great, staff were wonderful but if I knew there was no parking I would not have stayed there to be honest. At least if they had let me know that there was a possibility that I might not have parking I could have decided to stay or not....

Cockroach Room

Right after checking in and opening the room door, a cockroach ran across the floor. We alerted the front desk right away and it seemed as if this was a normal thing - they weren’t shocked at all. They said they’d “relay the message” for someone to come clean it up and that’s all they could do. We waited for someone to come but nothing happened, so we packed up and left. Hotels.com was able to sort out a refund at least.

The hotel is located in the heart of "Little Italy", which made it ideal for visiting here. The down side is the parking situation here. The underground parking is very small and parking was hard to find in this area. Secondly, the rooms are small and are in need of remodeling.

The hotel is in the middle of little Italy with great access to Italian and other restaurants. It is very close to the trolley line for easy access to many ateas of San Diego. The staff members are friendly and helpful. The hotel is connected to an outside terrace and coffee shop with great coffee and helpful staff. We loved it!

Very clean, comfortable and nice staff. The area is perfect for a stationary stay and there are lots of restaurants and bars at a walking distance. There is also street vendors that set up on the weekends that are not noisy. Would book again!

Staff put in the best room in the house and we really enjoyed the location and view so much! The staff was incredibly accommodating and I couldn't begin to express my gratitude. Regarding the place itself, the bed was nice, view fantastic, but unfortunately it was really noisy. Not only that, we had some cockroach visitors walking around in the bathroom.
