It was just fair. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable. It was just a place to stay a night or two at most. Bums sleeping outside the hotel when we came in. Rebecca was the best!

The staff and location stood out the most. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, in the heart of a busy neighborhood. The café downstairs and the pizzeria made it even better for mornings and lunchtime, where we got a coffee or a bite to eat and sat in the piazza. The room was clean but definitely needed a deep clean, but nothing was gross or alarming. It is a tight room, but we weren't going to spend allot of time in the room anyway. Highly recommend. We will be returning of we get a chance to visit SD again.

If you are not having daily housekeeping, the room should have 2sets of towels for each guest with enough soap , toilet paper for three days.

Room was great, late night staff courteous and helpful BUT the daytime front desk woman mostly engaged with was consistently HORRIBLE with customer service through my long weekend stay. She was all smiles with her colleagues (clearly having fun with them), but facial expression would turn to scowl as soon as a guest walked up. She also avoided engaging with customers as best she could, acted like she was bothered when she did need to engage. You have to wonder why some people would sign up for or be hired for such an important customer-facing position. Leave it to bad customer service to ruin an otherwise pleasant stay.

Had to request the room to be cleaned but that may be protocol nowadays, location is amazing! Couldn’t ask for better, parking be forewarned, smaller vehicle is better…the garage is tiny and its first come first serve for spots, I had rented a small suv and it was a struggle except for spot 3 *excellent !! I will come back here because of location! It’s awesome ! Maybe some more stiffer pillows! ?? Idk other than that ts awesome!

Wouldn’t stay here again, the ac doesn’t work and when asking for service to fix it, staff members didn’t do anything and said to deal with it. Room service like clean sheets and towels was not expected unless we requested it. The pictures online do not represent what the rooms look like at all.

It was a nice place to stay at due to it being close to gaslamp & other nice restaurants. There had been a power outage when we arrived to check in so that was a bummer. The AC had leaked water all over our clothes. Rooms are definitely small.

This was a good hotel in a fantastic location. Desk staff was great and very accommodating. The room was a bit dated but still very nice with a great view. Again the location was fantastic.

Hotel is located at the heart of Little Italy so you get a lot of food and coffee option, farmers market will be right in front of it on Saturdays so it's great if you like shopping for local produce or try new foods. It'll get a bit noisy at night from the nightlife but I had no trouble sleeping, room is clean, but the hotel's layout can get confusing if you are taking the stairs which I recommend since the elevator is slow.
