This place is my 'go to' in the San Diego area

I have stayed at the Legacy several times. It is my preferred location when in the San Diego area. It is clean, peaceful and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Just 2 little nits.... 1) Never happened before this recent trip, but they started texting me...all day long advertising the on-site restaurant & spa. I was very annoying. Please stop that practice. One text at the beginning of the stay to advise about the restaurant and spa is enough! 2) Parking area doesn't have enough lights. Many homeless people in the area & it is unsettling to have to go to the back parking at night.

I did not like that there was a $35 fee to park after we paid to stay at the hotel for two evenings. Parking should be included if we are staying at the hotel.

Hotel definately feels like a hotel for sale. Counter tops were damaged, cleaning was ok, not perfect though. All the Televangist parts were closed the entire time. Resturant never had more than 3 tables going (I was there sun-fri). It was fine, but not what I was expecting for such a large property. It is also nice thatthe religious vide doesnt bleed into the hotel itself. I will say the sitting areas feel posh and the gym is nice. The free fruit in the gym was a nice touch
