Our stay at Marty's Beach House was wonderful, and the highlight is undeniable: the view. Upon entering, the ridiculously amazing view of the Pacific Ocean just may take your breath away. It’s the kind of view you pause to admire every time you walk into the room.The condo quickly feels like home. The kitchen has updated appliances and every gadget you might need. The beds and pillows are extra comfortable (and I’m picky), and the bathroom has thoughtful amenities in case you’ve forgotten anything.The deck is another favorite spot. The furniture is very comfortable and it’s incredibly peaceful listening to the ocean. If there had been a lounge chair, I probably would have napped out there every afternoon. Occasionally you hear neighbors or walkers heading to the tide pools, but never enough to be bothersome.Ocean Beach is a quaint neighborhood with easy & safe access to downtown restaurants and shops. There’s a steep dirt path to the tide pools nearby, or a short walk to stairs a block away. The tide pools are full of amazing ocean life to explore.We arrived during an unusual March heat wave and the unit felt warm at first, but opening the windows and turning on the fans let the ocean breeze cool it quickly. After that, it was always comfortable for sleeping.Airplanes can be loud at times, but for us it was a small trade-off for that incredible view.Marty is delightful! Welcoming, helpful, quick to respond, and truly kind. She made it easy to feel at home!
