Excellent property in the heart of the biotech area. The only thing I did not like and which I don't like in many properties, is having to pay for parking. I personally think it should be incorporated into the room fee.

Staff and common areas are great. Room was average. Thermostat was hard to control and shower water was scalding. Instead of waiting for water to warm up, you had to wait for it to cool down.

Very good hotel for the area. Del Mar races close by. Staff and service were awesome. Restaurant and bar area was very good.

Room clean but somewhat not fresh. Shower malfunctioned - both the fixed and hand showers would go on together and the switch did not work. Water spilled onto the bathroom floor. Glasses on the bar were not fresh looking. Bed and pillows are great - all that matters.
