My husband and I had such a nice time! The Horton Grand is a beautiful hotel with so much history. It was a fabulous place to stay, in a great location in Gaslamp, and the staff was helpful and very welcoming. 100% would stay again.

Great location only a few blocks from gaslamp and Petco. Great service and fast. I didn’t even have to asked for my Gold Member VIP perk, the free room upgrade was ready upon arrival, quick check in and the room was a large suite that was upgraded yet they kept the charm of the boutique style hotel. The inner garden quad is quaint and the attached bar/restaurant, “Salt and Whiskey,” was excellent. Great service, good food, and good ambience. Came here with my wife of 27 years to see a concert at PETCO. Only critique, lower the cost of valet.

This is our 4th time staying here? Rooms are comfy staff is great bar is perfect but should be able to stay open longer if guests are still there the bar closes at 10pm also they should have a coffe counter for the morning they did on the past

This is a fine hotel and kind of quirky but with super basic amenities equivalent to a best western or holiday inn express. The lighting in the rooms was awful and the interior quartyard is the balcony not really outside. It was fine as a place to crash, but not as a fun hotel stay.
