Convenient, charming older hotel

We had an excellent stay. It’s an older, charming hotel, a block from Union Square and 4 blocks from Powell Street BART station. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. There’s free coffee in the lobby in the morning, a free glass of sherry in the evening, and a machine that dispenses free cold water (sparkling or still, flavored or plain) to fill your water bottle.

Relatively Affordable basic hotel in an old moderately maintained architecturally interesting building very close to Union square. Staff and room were good but not fancy.

Very old and quaint hotel. Great bed and sheets!!!! USB ports didn’t all work. Vaket returning car took an hour and there was an altercation right at desk with staff. Refund was minimal. Great location and normally okay place for eventing

The hotel was fine but what I found outrageous is that they wanted to charge me $50 for early check in. I’ve stayed at many hotels and usually they just say we don’t have any room ready but if one is available we’ll text you and let you know.

Great place to stay, walking distance from a lot of places and easy access to public transportation, also super clean and all the staff super nice, if you have time for to the theater in the second floor, they have great plays! Vi will definitely stay here again!
