The main reason to stay here is for the location. It is just in a great spot right off of Union Square. It is a pretty old hotel, but it definitely makes up for it with the inexpensive rooms. The water temperature fluctuates a little bit, but you can get used to it. If your window is facing the side of another building, it can actually get noisy with the howling wind. The hotel has an awesome water-filling station for your reusable water bottles in the lobby for hotel guests. You can get flavored waters or even waters with electrolytes, vitamins, etc. Other than that, the room is cleaned pretty well. Also, Manfred, at the front desk in the mornings, is very nice.

Afternoon/ evening front desk person wasn't easy to communicate with. Room itself was comfortable but could use newer windows for sound proofing and insulation. Heating system was not sufficient enough during cold weather. Bathroom needs grab bars in shower!

The room was a little small as it is an antique hotel. Great location and great service. The heater in my room didn't work & maintenance engineer was gone for the day, so they brought me a space heater that worked fine.

It’s a 100 year old hotel with great character. Room was very roomy for a downtown location and would highly recommend it. Staff were super friendly as well.
