We were just n town for a long weekend to see Dead and Ci and found this location to be great in terms of proximity to Muni, buses and cable car- room was comfy- staff was friendly and efficient!!

My partner and I were in town for a concert at Golden Gate Park. The location was perfect for what we needed. We enjoyed the restaurant in the hotel and the staff was incredibly accommodating. Everything was great. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is right next to the tenderloin neighborhood which is a very sketchy neighborhood. Long as you know not to go into the neighborhood especially at night you'll be fine. As far as the hotel itself, it's outdated, carpet is old, everything is old, the bathroom has no ceiling fans so not sure how they deal with moisture and mold, but the beds were comfortable. if you just need a place to sleep it's fine. The bar only had six seats for some reason so I couldn't get a seat on a Saturday night. Only interacted with the hotel staff when checking in, and the guy was not welcoming or friendly, but the bell hops were great.
